Organic Farm Foods

Organic Fairtrade

We have successfully extended fresh produce products way beyond bananas and help thousands of farm workers around the globe to an even better and safer life.

The organic Fairtrade lines that we introduced in 2004 have produced a number of worldwide firsts:

  • green beans from Egypt
  • seedless grapes from South Africa and Egypt
  • oranges from South Africa and Egypt

The Fairtrade market around the world is growing at over 50% pa and in the UK has started to reach 'mainstream' proportions. Our policy is to connect organic to fairtrade and thus build the market for both. The goal is to double the organic market by reaching out and meeting consumer needs while creating more sustainability for our producers around the world. This is a substantial ambition but our commitment to invest in this growth is not in doubt.

The range

Grapes, citrus, potatoes and beans form the core of our Organic Fairtrade portfolio but we plan to include many more.
